Stars Price List 2024

Boarding Options:

Training- Horse in full training for show or sale. This price includes daily grooming supplies and supplements such as Gut X and Red Cell. $700.00 Halter Horses / $725.00 Driving Horses, $750.00 Shetlands & Show Ponies. 

 
Downtime Board- Horse on daily turn out or light work with neck wrapping and grooming as needed. Horse will remain 
on show horse diet with supplements. Not available January thru September. $425.00 Miniatures, $475.00 Shetlands & Show Ponies


Pasture Board- For Broodmares and/or foals. No Stallions. May include feed and hay depending on time of year. 
$10.00 per day- mare, $12.00 per day- mare and foal 

 
Show and Sale Prep Fees:

Horse Show Fees- Motels, food, tack stalls and any other costs incurred at a show will be divided up among the number of owners with horses attending that show. A $95.00 day fee per horse, per day shown, will also be billed to cover grooming supplies, clipper blades, etc. Horses in more than 3 non Championship classes will be charged an additional $50.00 for every 3 classes they are entered in. Owners will be billed for any reimbursable charges such as stalls, entries and shavings. These may be billed prior to a show if necessary. A 10% fee will be billed to clients against any monies won in the AMHA, AMHR, ASPC Futurities or other pay back classes while the horse is in training at Stars Miniatures.

 
Body Clip & Facial- For horses in full training $120.00 Horses not in full training $150.00


Photo Shoot Prep Fee- a $50.00 fee will be charged to cover grooming supplies and set up. If a horse needs to be clipped, the above Body Clip & Facial charges will apply as well.


AMHR National Show Fee- This fee covers National Show expenses such as mileage, hotel, food, tack and grooming stalls, etc. This fee will be charged up front before the show. This fee does not include each horses stall, shavings, clipping, entries and AMHR fees. These charges will be billed separately, when they are due. 2024 Fee $1,900.00 First Horse, $1,700.00 each additional horse. Owners with horses entered in more than 3 non Championship classes will be charged an additional $100.00 for every 3 classes they are entered in. 


AMHA World Show Fee- This covers World Show expenses such as mileage, hotel, food, tack and grooming stalls, etc. This fee will be charged up front, before the show. This fee does not include each horses stall, shavings, clipping, entries and AMHA Drug Fee. These charges will be billed separately, before the show. 2024 Fee $1,900.00 First Horse, $1,700.00 each additional horse. Owners with horses entered in more than 3 non Championship classes will be charged an additional $100.00 for every 3 classes they are entered in. 


Misc. Fees:
Hoof Trimming- $48.00, Worming-$7.50, Hauling- .50 cents per mile (Price subject to change without notice)


Vaccinations and Shots- Price will be dictated by administering vet or current price availability.


Sellers/Agent Fee- A 20% commission, based on actual sales price, will be due from the owner of any horse sold while in training or within 60 days of being in training at Stars Miniatures.


Late Fees- Bills are due upon receipt. A $50.00 late fee will be charged on accounts that are 30 days or more past due. All customer accounts must be current for a client's horse to attend a show.

Additional Costs- Expenses such as Coggins, shots, vaccinations, health certs., flushes, cultures, ultrasounds, etc. will be billed as needed by Stars Miniatures or the attending veterinarian. 


Horses Leaving Farm- Arrangements must be made with Stars Miniatures no less than 7 days prior to picking a horse up. All monies due must be paid in full before a horse can leave Star's custody. A trainer must be present when any horse(s) is picked up.
 

Prices effective January 1st, 2024. Prices subject to change with 30 days notice to all clients if possible.
Multi horse discounts will be handled on a case by case basis. At Stars Miniatures our goal is to bring out the greatest potential in your horse. Congress, National & World Champion titles are our ultimate goal. At local shows, as well as Championship  Shows, Grand and Supreme classes are considered "icing on the cake". Stars Miniatures will choose which horse(s) to present in Grand and Supreme classes according to which horse we believe has the greatest opportunity to win on that given day.
