breeding contract

1. Mare Owner agrees to pay a $________________ Stud fee. This fee includes a non-refundable booking
fee of $___________________ that shall be paid prior to, or at the arrival of the mare to Stars Miniatures.

2. Mare Owner agrees to pay $_____________________________________________ mare care per day.

3. Mare shall be accompanied by a current Coggins, a Health Certificate within 45 days of arrival and a
clear copy of the front of her AMHA papers. Any additional health, breeding and insurance information
is appreciated.

4. Mare Owner is financially responsible for any medical, farrier or misc. expenses due for the mare. Mare
Owner also consents to any medical treatment deemed necessary by Stars Miniatures or its veterinarian.
This may be billed by Stars or the attending veterinarian. The Mare Owner understands that Stars
Miniatures will not be responsible for any disease, accident, sickness or death to the above mare.

5. If the mare is not going to remain at Stars Miniatures for the complete term of her pregnancy, she will
be ultrasounded by our veterinarian to confirm her status upon departure.

6. If the mare is confirmed in foal, Mare Owner agrees to pay $_________________________________
for the balance of the stud fee. This fee is waived if the mare remains open. Any stud fees, mare care or
other expenses must be paid in full before the mare can be released by Stars Miniatures. Stars Miniatures
requests 5 business days notice before any mare can be picked up from the farm unless prior
arrangements have been made.

7. Stars Miniatures offers a LIMITED live foal guarantee. Should the above mare not deliver a live foal,
the Mare Owner will be offered ONE free booking/stud fee to the same stallion or one agreed upon by
both parties. Should the mare have problems with a second pregnancy, all guarantees are void. Special
consideration may be given to mares that remain at Stars Miniatures for the duration of their pregnancy.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON BOOKING FEES OR STUD FEES. Mare owner will be
responsible for all of mare's expenses on rebreeds.
