We couldn't be more pleased with our 2011 foal crop. Gator continues to amaze us. With 14 Gator babies on the ground for 2011, one was named Central Regional Champion, two were crowned Res World Champions and one was an AMHR National Champion. Needless to say we couldn't be more pleased. We have two more Gators here at home that will be shown in the spring! Check out our New Artrivals Page. For 10 years we had been working towards owning our own farm. Our dreams came true in January, 2008 when Stars Miniature Show Horses opened for business. Located in the lovely Southeast Texas town of Spurger, we built our facility so that it could offer the best of everything in training and breeding. The interior of the barn is 50' X 120' with a 15' X 120' overhang for my girls. It houses twenty plus 10 X 10 show horse stalls and up to ten 10 X 10 foaling stalls. A little more dirt work and some landscape this Spring, and this barn will look like a Star! |

We put a large, 10 X 10 door on each side for ventilation during the Summer. A huge 20' door on the back gives us lots of options. A 12' garage door on the front finishes the look. We are working on the office, grooming room, wash rack, feed room, rest room and Mike's show clothes closet! |
Our open, 10' X 10' broodmare stalls let the girls feel like they are still in the herd while allowing them individual feed and attention. they have a view of the entire farm and they get their own foaling paddocks too. With our Foalert and cameras, they get care 24/7! |
Our 10' X 10' show horse stalls are not only pretty, they are safe and roomy. Our horses can easily see their surroundings and other horses, as well as have plenty of fresh air. This is important because we know happy horses make the best show horses! |

We are so excited about our 2012 foal crop. Three time AMHA World Champion Final Review has his last four foals to be born in the USA. We also have fantastic foals by our incredibly gorgeous, Gator! His foals are out winning big all over the World. Our World Champion Vegas even has his first baby coming in April. I am on pins and needles already! Majesty certainly did his part getting all three of his mares in foal after just two weeks of being together! He has three of my best so we are excited for Majesty to have a chance to prove how fabulous he is. We also purchased two ultra refined, doll headed mares in foal to a fabulous young stallion named Buckadandy. We are anxious to see the results. The past couple of years we have had great success with our sales programs. We divide our horses into groups to make shopping easier. Our $3,500.00 Filly Program gives everyone the chance to purchase a lovely, well bred filly at a fair price! This program was a huge success in 2011 and works well with our $1,000.00 Colt Program. It will return for the forth year. It has been very popular. All our colts sell almost immediatly! Some were sold within hours of being posted. Most go to show homes and are out competing and winning. One was even named National Champion in 2011! For the discriminating buyer, we will again offer our Future Stars Program. These are the best of the best of our foal crop and are top show quality babies! If you are looking for your next winner, check them out. The Proven Show Horses are those horses that are yearlings and older that have already made their mark in the show ring. The past few years we have sold World Champions, Honor Roll Champions and many of the top horses in the country. Our goal is to have something for everyone!!! Mike has been booked to do numerous clinics all over the world in 2012. More dates and places are in the works right now and information will be posted on our website soon. Go to our Training Page and go to our 2012 Schedule for details. It all starts in February doing a clinic in England, March in Belgium and the end of March in Florida. |

Mike is usually booked by others to do his clinics. However, we have always wanted to host a clinic of our own. We thought Houston would be a great location because of the two airports, lots of hotels and dining all close by. If you would be interested in this, please let us know. We are thrilled with our latest venture, The Oaks Kunekunes. Kunekunes are pigs that are rare in the US. They are small, extremely friendly pigs that can thrive on pasture alone. They are incredibly easy keepers and are super smart. Mine sit, sit up, lay, come and kennel up on command. They mature around 18-24" and about 90 to 120 pounds.
